MAX Card offer

If you have a MAX Card you can take advantage of the following discounts:

  • Free swimming in casual and FunSplash swim sessions for the Max Card holder, and a £1 swim for an accompanying person
  • Half price family swim (2 adults and up to 3 children, the Max Card holder needs to be present)
  • To redeem the offer the customer needs to present the Max Card at the reception desk when they visit.

SwimLincs learn to swim lessons – £21 per month paid by Direct Debit. This price includes:

  • one SwimLincs lesson per week for 50 weeks of the year

  • price for life (terms and conditions apply)
  • the SwimLincs student is entitled to use any NL Active swimming pool free of charge during casual swim sessions so that they can practice their swimming

Sports facility hire

You can hire our sports facilities for one-off events or regular bookings. If you’d like to hire the facilities you can submit a hire request using our online form, or if you’d like to discuss your requirements you can email bookings.pods@northlincs.gov.uk.

Hire of facilities are subject to a nominal fee to cover Public Liability Insurance (PLI) unless the hirer holds their own insurance. If you have your own PLI a copy of your certificate is required at the time of booking.

To make it easier for you to submit your booking request for NL Active facility hire we’ve moved our booking form online so you can submit your request at the touch of the button without the need to print or email forms. Block bookings that consist of 10 or more sessions will receive a discount of 17.5%. To submit your request click the button below.

One-off event booking
  • A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking, and the remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to the event. 
  • Any changes to the booking will incur a £25 administration charge for each change.  
  • If cancelling your booking, the deposit is refundable if written notice of cancellation is received at least 21 days prior to the event. Written notice must be sent via email to bookings.pods@northlincs.gov.uk  
  • Cancellations made less than 21 days before the event are subject to a 25% charge, less than 14 days incur a 50% charge, and less than 7 days incur a 100% charge. 
  • Additional charges for items will be billed immediately after the event and payment will be required within 30 days of receipt of invoice.  
Standard booking

This booking is for less than 10 consecutive bookings. If your booking is for 10 or more consecutive sessions you may qualify for a discount of 17.5%

  • Any changes / amendments to the booking will incur a £25 administration charge for each change. 
  • There’s no penalty for cancelling a booking with at least 7 days’ notice. 
  • Cancelling a single date or session within the booking with less than 7 days’ notice incurs an administration charge of £25. 
  • Cancelling a single date or session within the booking with less than 72 hours’ notice incurs the full cost of hire for that session. 
  • Not notifying us of the cancellation of a single date or session within the booking with less than 72 hours’ notice incurs an administration fee of £25 and the full cost of hire for that session.
  • Full payment is required within 30 days from receiving the invoice. 
  • Future bookings may be at risk if there are outstanding payments. 
Discounted block booking

To qualify for a discounted block booking your booking must consist of 10 or more consecutive sessions and the interval between the bookings must be more than 6 days but not more than 14 days.

  • Dates when facility hire is not required must be stated at the time of booking. 
  • Any additional bookings made during the booking period will also qualify for the discounted rate. 
  • NL Active will provide a refund or credit if the facility is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. 
  • If you cancel a session after already meeting the discount criteria your discounted rate will not be affected. 
  • Any changes to the booking by the hirer will incur a £25 administration charge for each change. 
  • There’s no penalty for cancelling a single date or session within the booking as long as at least 7 days’ notice is given.  
  • Cancelling a single date or session within the booking with less than 7 days’ notice incurs an administration charge of £25. 
  • Cancelling a single date or session within the booking with less than 72 hours’ notice incurs the full cost of hire for that session. 
  • Not notifying us of the cancellation of a single date or session within the booking with less than 72 hours’ notice incurs an administration fee of £25 and the full cost of hire for that session.
  • Payments can be made weekly, monthly, by invoice, or upfront. 
  • Full payment is required within 30 days from receiving the invoice. 
  • Future bookings may be at risk if there are outstanding payments. 

Please note that a minimum written of notice of cancellation must be given for all bookings. Please refer to guidance above for the appropriate notice period required for each booking type. All changes, amendments or cancellations to bookings must be made in writing by emailing bookings.pods@northlincs.gov.uk

Submission of a booking form is not a guarantee that the date or time is available, or the booking has been accepted. The bookings team will provide an email confirmation of the booking within 7 days of the receipt of your booking form.

Admissions policy

Our staff have the right to work in a safe and friendly environment. We will not tolerate abusive behaviour to our staff, customers, or visitors to the centre, be it verbal, physical, racial or sexist. We will challenge any such behaviour and may suspend or withdraw service to customers who are being abusive.

We will refuse entry to our facilities to customers who are, or appear to be, under the influence of drink or drugs.

The last time of entry to our facilities is 1 hour before closing.

Definitions:
  • An adult is a person aged 18 years and over
  • A junior is a person aged 17 years and under
  • A carer is someone who provides support to an individual or group who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for an individual who is ill, frail, disabled, or has mental health or substance misuse problems.

An adult must accompany children under the age of eight years for the duration of their visit to our facilities.

Juniors will not be allowed entry after 6pm unless accompanied by an adult, or taking part in a designated activity.

Water based activities are great fun, especially for young children. However, water is also hazardous, and careful supervision is essential.

An adult must accompany every child under the age of four years on a one-to-one basis.

An adult must accompany children aged between four and seven inclusive with no more than two children to one adult.

Children aged eight years and over can swim unaccompanied.

The sauna suite at Baysgarth Community Hub is available to use by adult customers only.

All sauna suite users must complete a registration and medical form before using this facility.

Children aged 11 to 15 years may use the gym during programmed ‘Junior Gym’ sessions. These sessions are supervised by qualified instructors.

Children aged 14 to 17 years are welcome to join as a Fitness Junior member, however they must have adult supervision until the age of 16.

All customers wishing to use the the gym can do so as a member, casual pay-as-you-go gym member, or using a day pass (only available at Axholme North Leisure Centre and Epworth Leisure Centre)

Any person aged 16 years and over is able to attend classes advertised on the centre’s group fitness programme., however, there is only one standard adult price for classes.

There may be specific group fitness classes designed for children who are 15 years and younger.

An adult must accompany children aged seven years and under if they wish to enter the ‘opposite sex’ changing rooms.

We will charge carers / personal assistants that participate in activities alongside their client the current activity fees along with any additional joining fees.

We will allow free entry to carers / personal assistants who are required to physically assist or help their client to take part in their activity and are therefore unable to participate themselves.

Carers / personal assistants are responsible for supervising their client at all times during the activity and are required to book in at reception on every visit.
