Children and young people across North Lincolnshire will be able to enjoy more fun-packed activities when the popular Fuelled programme returns this Easter.

A huge variety of events have been organised across the region, from DJ skills, boxing and martial arts in Scunthorpe to dance and cheerleading in Winterton and drumming workshops in Brigg.

On the Isle of Axholme there is the chance to care for the new-born animals at Coneygarth Farm, take part in a fun football camp in Epworth and much more.

To find out which activities are taking place near you, hop along to the Fuelled page on our website.

The activities are free to join for children and young people who receive benefits related free school meals and have been co-ordinated by North Lincolnshire Council using Government cash.

Everyone that takes part in the events will also receive a free healthy lunch.

Cllr Julie Reed, cabinet member for children and families said:

“We received a huge amount of positive feedback from families who took part in the summer and Christmas programmes about the benefits it brought to their children, so to see Fuelled return for Easter is fantastic.

“I know from personal experience just how important healthy meals, fun activities, and chances to make new friends are to young people.

“I would like to thank all the fantastic providers who have worked hard to offer such a huge variety of activities to local people.”

Details on how to book a place have been sent to eligible families through their schools. For those families not eligible, there are also a number of free and paid places available.
