Over-subscription criteria for 2019, 2020 and 2021

After the admission of pupils with statements of Special Educational Needs or Education Health and Care Plans where the school is named on the statement or plan, the following criteria will be applied in the order set out below, to decide which children to admit.

  1. Looked after children and previously looked after children
  2. Children who live in the school’s catchment area
  3. Children who will have a sibling attending the school at the time of their admission
  4. Children who live closest to the school

Note: In 2018 the children who were not offered places were those in category 4 who lived further than 10.414 miles walking distance away from the school. In 2019, although there were more applications than the number of places planned for, all the children were admitted to the school. In 2020 the children who were not offered places were all those in category 4.
