Roads in Barton will be improved before Christmas as resurfacing work takes place  

Preparation work has already begun on several roads in Barton-upon-Humber ready for the resurfacing programme to be rolled out this week, starting from Monday 9 December.  

Soutergate  

Monday 9 December, 7.30am to 5pm – plane carriageway under full road closure 

Tuesday 10 December, 7.30am to 5pm – resurface carriageway under full road closure 

Catherine Street 

Wednesday 11 December, 7.30am to 5pm – plane carriageway under full road closure 

Thursday 12 December, 7.30am to 5pm – resurface carriageway under full road closure 

Pasture Road  

Wednesday 11 December, 7.30am to 5pm – plane carriageway under full road closure 

Thursday 12 December, 7.30am to 5pm – resurface carriageway under full road closure 

Friday 13 December, 7.30am to 5pm – line carriageway under full road closure 

The closure will not extend to south of Butts Road until after 9am to allow for school traffic. 

Falkland Way Road (Network Rail works) 

Friday 13 December, 6pm to 6am – plane, resurface and line carriageway under full road closure 

Falkland Way  

Monday 2 to Friday 13 December, 7.30am to 6pm – replace manhole lids/frames under localised traffic management 

Monday 16 December, 7.30am to 6pm – plane carriageway under traffic lights and 6pm to 6am – resurface carriageway under full road closure 

Tuesday 17 December, 7.30am to 6pm – plane carriageway under traffic lights and 6pm to 6am – resurface carriageway under full road closure  

Wednesday 18 December, 7.30am to 6pm – plane carriageway under traffic lights and 6pm to 6am – resurface carriageway under full road closure  

Thursday 19 December, 6pm to 6am – lining work 

Friday 20 December, 6pm to 6am – lining works
