Community buses Hattie and Barbara will be visiting towns across North Lincolnshire in August giving residents an opportunity to share their views on buses, take part in family games and find out details on the latest schemes available.
Stagecoach’s Hattie was redesigned to promote a safe place for people to go along and chat, with seating areas and tables, tea and coffee making facilities, a children’s Wendy house, games, chalkboard and magnetic wall games.
Hornsbys’ Barbara is a vintage coach, a 1948 Bedford OB named after the managing director’s mother. It is available for hire for all different occasions and events.
This summer, all children and young people under 19 can travel on North Lincolnshire buses for £1.50. The £3 fare cap has been extended until at least March 2027.
The roadshow dates and locations are:
- Tuesday 5 August – Hattie at Barton Interchange, 10am to 2pm
- Wednesday 6 August – Hattie in Crowle Market Place, 10am to 2pm
- Thursday 7 August – Barbara at Brigg Bridge Street, 10am to 2pm
- Friday 8 August – Hattie at Scunthorpe Bus Station, 10am to 2pm.
Pop along and have your say by completing the bus survey and join in family fun.
Significant improvements to North Lincolnshire’s bus networks have been made. Including extending services and widening the network to reach more communities.
If you can’t make any of the roadshow dates, you can complete the bus survey online.
