Review of polling districts and places

In 2024, North Lincolnshire Council carried out a review of its polling districts and places (stations) to make sure that electors across our area can access voting facilities, including ensuring that polling stations are accessible to voters with disabilities.

The council is required to review its polling districts and polling places every five years. This helps us make sure that polling arrangements reflect changes in population.

Residents were invited to suggest locations that could be used as polling stations – if they are not already – and outline any problems they may have accessing current polling stations. We are particularly interested in the views of residents with a disability, who may find it more difficult to access a polling station.

Views were also welcomed on the boundaries of polling districts.

The next review will take place in 2029.
