Fostering information

Family finding

We work thoughtfully to match children with families who can offer love, stability, and understanding.

Our team takes the time to truly get to know each child’s needs and each family’s strengths. Together, we create safe, nurturing connections that support every child’s future.

Read on to find out more about some of the children in our care. Could you offer a forever home?

Meet Masie

Maisie is a bright, creative and affectionate 7‑year‑old girl who is looking for a stable, nurturing long‑term family. She has a wonderful imagination and can happily lose herself in creative activities such as painting, drawing, air‑dry clay and diamond art. Maisie has recently shown an interest in learning to sew and enjoys making small items for her dolls, whom she cares for lovingly and proudly takes on outings in their pram.

Maisie is chatty, inquisitive and enjoys being around the adults she trusts. She thrives with reassurance and gentle encouragement and is beginning to manage short periods of independent play. Maisie can feel anxious in unfamiliar situations and benefits from clear routines, calm explanations and limited choices to help her feel secure. At times, when overwhelmed, she may communicate her feelings through emotional outbursts or regress to younger behaviours, responding well to comfort and physical reassurance.

At school, Maisie is settling well, enjoys friendships and is making good academic progress, particularly in reading. She is kind to others and enjoys praise and celebration. With patient, trauma‑informed carers who can offer warmth, consistency and understanding, Maisie has enormous potential to continue growing in confidence and self‑esteem.

Meet Finn

Finn is a fun‑loving, energetic 5‑year‑old boy with a brilliant imagination and a love of play. Everything is an adventure for Finn, whether he is racing cars, building with magnetic shapes or proudly flying his homemade paper aeroplanes. He particularly enjoys outdoor play and is a confident little climber who loves trips to the park, where he can burn off energy and explore.

Finn is especially enthusiastic about superheroes, with Spiderman being a firm favourite – from his bike rides to his clothes, he delights in being a “superfast pedal bike rider.” He is affectionate, cuddly and expressive once he feels safe, often telling people he loves them.

Finn benefits from patient adults who can help him manage frustration and big feelings, particularly if tasks feel difficult or don’t go to plan. He responds incredibly well to playful, calm approaches and gentle encouragement. At school, Finn receives additional support for speech and communication needs and is making encouraging progress, especially with reading and phonics, which he is very proud of.

With consistent routines, positive role‑modelling and understanding carers, Finn continues to develop his confidence, emotional regulation and independence, showing great promise for the future.

Meet Lily and Oliver

Lily is eight years old and Oliver is six years old; they lived with their parents and two other siblings who have significant learning difficulties. Lily and Oliver are unable to stay at home and are looking for a long-term foster family to look after them.

Lily is a bundle of energy and is very excitable, she gets along with everyone and is described as a delight. Lily has made progress in school but still needs a carer that can give extra time and attention to her; Lily thrives when having clear, consistent boundaries in her life.

As for Oliver… he is a fun little boy with a caring nature. He enjoys routines and he likes to know what he is doing in advance. He has a good imagination and can play well with others as well as on his own at times, often partaking in sports clubs with friends. Oliver needs to have a patient and understanding carer that can help make transitions easier as he struggles to regulate this himself. His previous carers have described him as an adorable, caring, loving little boy.

Meet Arthur

Arthur is a bright, energetic five-year-old boy, with a wonderful imagination and a loving nature. We are searching for a patient, understanding and committed family who can offer him a stable, long-term home into adulthood.

Arthur loves active and outdoor play. In the warmer months you’ll often find him running, climbing, swinging or playing in the sandpit. He also enjoys exploring wildlife in the garden and discovering.

Arthur is described as a determined and strong-willed child who often prefers to play independently, although he can join in with peers at school for short periods. He enjoys sensory play and exploring different textures.

Arthur has a diagnosis of autism, so we are seeking carers who understand autism and can support him through routines and transitions. Arthur forms warm relationships with trusted adults and is a loving little boy who deserves a family to help with thrive.
