The biggest and brightest careers fair the region has ever seen is coming to Scunthorpe this spring.
The North Lincolnshire Careers Fest is happening at the University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL), Ashby Road, on 21 May 2022, 1pm to 4pm.
North Lincolnshire is a great place to live and work, so if you’re looking to start your career, or up-skill, visitors will find dozens of businesses and organisations dedicated to helping them take the next pathway in their career journey.
Organised by North Lincolnshire Council in partnership with UCNL, it will be a fun festival event featuring live music from the Hedley Brothers and Kayleigh Wilson in the beautiful surroundings of Central Park.
There will also be a climbing wall, bungee run, assault course and rodeo bull, while inside the UCNL visitors can take part in mock lectures and interviews and hear guest speakers, all designed to get them job and higher education-ready.
The event is open to over 13s, as well as those returning to education or looking for a career change.
Advice, information and hands-on experience will be available for everything from apprenticeships and the armed forces to university courses and vocational training.
