How we use your reports
We send a qualified inspector to inspect every defect that’s reported to us. We prioritise repairs based on a risk assessment and our Code of Practice.
The information you provide will help the inspector decide when they will inspect it, but this usually happens within 10 working days of us receiving a report.
The inspector will decide if the problem is an immediate safety risk or not. If it is, we carry out emergency repairs or make it safe using barriers, signs, etc. within 24 hours.
If not, we will usually repair a defect within 28 days.
If a defect does not qualify for repair yet, we will continue to check it through routine inspections.
If you provided your contact details, the inspector will contact you to tell you the outcome.
