Bus Service Champions
North Lincolnshire Council is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist the Public Transport Team.
Volunteers to the scheme would join a small team of Bus Service Champions who are well informed about the local Public Transport in their area.
Volunteers would provide information to the Public Transport Team about any issues they have noticed or had reported to them by members of the public. They would also act as a liaison with members of the public about any changes to the public transport network and provide feedback from residents regarding services.
The information provided to the Public Transport Team would include any damaged infrastructure, any issues with services and any general information that may help improve public transport within North Lincolnshire.
This is a voluntary unpaid service and has no contracted hours and no expectation of active working. This is a scheme to provide information to the Public Transport Team that will help decrease the time between repairing damage and provide a new perspective to the team to help increase engagement with residents.
If you are interested, please complete the form below to register your interest. A member of the Public Transport Team will then contact you to arrange a brief interview and introduction. This will ensure you fully understand the scheme and are comfortable with the process. Following this, you will be notified of the outcome of your application.
