Where can I find the nearest public toilet?

We operate 20 public toilets across North Lincolnshire. We also have a number of Changing Places toilets in North Lincolnshire for people with severe or complex disabilities.

Click on the map below for more information about public conveniences in North Lincolnshire.

All public toilets are closed on bank holidays, but operate a normal service on all other days over the Christmas period.

They are opened for use at 8.30am and are closed between 4pm and 5.30pm, with the exception of Ashby Broadway that closes at 3pm and parks that remain open until 7pm in the summer.

* Disabled public toilets with RADAR key access are accessible (unless they are undergoing maintenance) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with the exception of Central Park/Nutshell, Crowle, Barton Market Place, Cary Lane, Brigg and Humber Bridge Viewing Area, which close as above. Radar keys are available to buy from our main Community Hubs.

Changing Places toilets

Standard accessible toilets do not meet the needs of every person with a disability.

People with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well people with other physical disabilities such as spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis often need extra facilities to allow them to use the toilets safely and comfortably.

Changing Places toilets are different to standard disabled toilets as they have extra features, special equipment and more space to provide a safe and clean environment for the people who use them.

The extra facilities in Changing Places toilets include:

  • A height adjustable bench.
  • A tracking hoist system or mobile hoist.
  • Adequate space for a disabled person and up to two carers.
  • A privacy screen or curtain.
