Car park locations

North Lincolnshire Council offer a range of long or short stay car parks to meet the needs of visitors and shoppers to our towns.

Warning Temporary restrictions at Carlton Street car park – A ten-month programme of work by Severn Trent Water will restrict car parking facilities at Carlton Street car park until early next year (2025). Improvements to sewerage works mean the back seven rows of parking spaces will be inaccessible. The front eight rows of parking spaces, including all the disabled bays, will be unaffected.

Free parking scheme

The scheme offers one free two hour session a day, for each vehicle, per visit, per site.

When using free parking a free session must be obtained from the car park machine (ticketless & cashless) or via MiPermit. Instructions for obtaining a free session are located at the payment machines.

You cannot transfer a free pay session to any other car park. For example, a session obtained in Old Courts Road car park, Brigg cannot by used in The Angel car park, Brigg or any other car park in Ashby or Scunthorpe.

If you require more than two hours in Brigg, Ashby or Scunthorpe, a parking session for the appropriate amount of time should be purchased.

Parking is free all day on a Saturday and Sunday.

Cashless parking

Parking in council car parks can be paid for using your mobile phone and a debit or credit card.

Payments can also be made via the MI-Permit website or app. (except for the Parishes multi storey car park)

EV charging points

Electric charging points with 24-hour access are available in the following car parks;

  • Old Courts Road Car Park Brigg 4 bays 22 kw
  • The Angel, Brigg 2 bays 7kw
  • King Steet Car Park, Scunthorpe 2 bays 22 kw
  • Robert Street Car Park, Scunthorpe 2 bays 22kw
  • Parishes Mult-Story Car Park Scunthorpe 4 bays 22kw
  • Church Street Car Park, Epworth 2 bays 22kw
  • Potts Lane Car Park, Crowle 2 bays 22kw
  • Bottesford Road Car Park, Bottesford 2 bays 22kw
  • Epworth Hub 4 bays 22kw
  • Normanby Gateway, Lysaghts Way, Scunthorpe 2 bays 7 kw.

The tariff is for all charge points is 0.40p/KW via the Swarco e.connect app.

No parking tariffs apply whilst actively charging. (Except for the Parishes Multi Storey Car Park where payment will be required for staying longer than 2 hours.)
