Residents’ parking permits

Permits can be purchased online and are virtual.

We run a number of resident parking permit schemes:

• Brant Road, Scunthorpe
• Frances Street/Allanby Street, Scunthorpe
• Queen Street, Brigg
• Lindley Street/Belmont Street, Ashby, Scunthorpe.

All residents’ parking permit terms and conditions are on the MiPermit website and are available to view/download when you have purchased your permit.

MiPermit will process virtual permits within 3 *working days of applying. Please make sure you give enough time for these to be processed to avoid receiving a Parking Penalty Notice (PCN).

*Working days – Monday – Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays)

Residents Permits are priced as follows:

• 6-month permit – £37.73
• 1 Year permit – £66.95

Permits can be purchased at any time and will run from date application is authorised for six months or one year.

All eligible properties are in the MiPermit system. Applicants will be required to provide proof that they live in the address provided on the application, for example, by providing a utility bill and a copy of the vehicle registration document (V5 or logbook). This document should show the name and address of the applicant.

Register for an account on MiPermit to set up your vehicle details. Registration numbers can be amended as appropriate for the permit holder. Other residents of the same property can apply for their own permit.
