Find out about Supported Lodgings:

  • Last Wednesday of every month – Monthly pop-up at Scunthorpe Library, between 4pm to 5pm (see information below)
  • Wednesday 22 July, Fostering Online Information Evening, 6.30pm – 8pm. Register your interest on Eventbrite.
  • Sunday 2 August, Picnic in the Park, 10am – 3pm, 60 Brigg Rd, Barton-upon-Humber DN18 5DR
  • Wednesday 5th August, Ongo Carnival, 11am – 3.30pm, Manor Park in Scunthorpe
  • Saturday 15th August, UCNL community event, 10am – 4pm, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 1BU
  • Saturday 29th August, Scunthorpe Pride, 12pm – 7pm, Church Square, Scunthorpe.

Find out about Fostering

Monthly pop-up at Scunthorpe Library

Thinking about fostering but not sure where to start? Our ‘Find out about Fostering pop-up’ makes it easy to learn more, with no pressure and no commitment.

From January 2026, our friendly fostering team will be at Scunthorpe Library on the last Wednesday of every month, between 4pm and 5pm. You can drop in at any point during the hour to ask questions, pick up information, and find out what fostering could look like for you and your family.

Whether you’re just curious, considering fostering in the future, or ready to take the next step, we’re here to chat in a relaxed, informal setting.
