Expeditions
Please remember that the cost of the expedition is additional to your eDofE registration. Expedition spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
Payment is taken upon booking which secures the booking and there is an option to pay by instalments to help spread the cost. It is only possible to book the expedition package advertised; we are unable to offer a pick-and-mix of different expedition options.
There is one Bronze expedition in 2026 and one Silver.
Please ensure your eDofE number is for the level of expedition you are attending.

Expedition pricing
The total price is payable at point of expedition booking or can be paid in three instalments. The price is inclusive of:
- Bronze (three days), Silver (seven days),
- Qualified and experienced leaders
- All accommodation and campsite fees
- Use of group equipment
- Expedition assessor reports
- Silver only – travel to expedition start included

Skills days
The skills day at Bronze and Silver level is mandatory. Our DofE staff team will focus on practical expedition skills, including map reading, first aid, and risk management scenarios. Wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Lunch will be provided for the skills day only which participants will cook. Participants will need to provide food for the practice and assessed expeditions themselves.
