It is easier than ever to get vaccinated. Anyone over the age of 18 can now get the jab at the Baths Hall – no appointment is needed people can just drop in at a time that suits them.

The Baths is open seven days a week between 9am and 5pm.

Previously people had to book a slot using the national booking system.

The change follows a successful pilot drop-in session on Sunday 13 June. Despite the hot weather and the England match being on 250 people without appointments turned up.

Steve Pintus, Northern Lincolnshire’s Director of Public Health, said:

“We are now in a race to get as many people as possible vaccinated before the Delta variant of Covid-19 takes hold in North Lincolnshire. We have a clear ambition to have offered the vaccine to anyone aged over 18 before restrictions are lifted on 19 July.

“The delay in removing restrictions gives us a real opportunity to get all adults vaccinated with at least one dose and ensure the more vulnerable have two doses before people carry out activities that carry a greater risk of spreading infection. Vaccinations without an appointment available at The Baths make it easier than ever to get the jab.

“We also need to carry on with the basics – get tested and self-isolate if you have symptoms, wear a mask when needed, practice good hand hygiene and keep your distance.”
