Runners and spectators of the North Lincs Half Marathon on Sunday (5 May 2019) should allow extra time for their journey due to the temporary closure of the A18 Doncaster Road in Scunthorpe (between Hilton Avenue and Berkeley Business Centre). This is due to emergency sewer works by Severn Trent.
Drivers arriving from the east should exit the M180 at Junction 4 (Forest Pines) and take the Queensway and Kingsway to reach race parking and Event HQ.
Those arriving from the west should exit the M180 at Junction 3 and follow the diversion route onto the A1077, Luneburg Way and Scotter Road.
Race parking is available at North Lindsey College, Quibell Park, Central Park and the Berkeley Business Centre. See your race information pack or the Tape2Tape website for more details.
Where possible, runners and spectators are encouraged to car share or walk to the event. Temporary road closures for the race itself will be in place from 7.30am.
This emergency road closure will not affect the race route.
