Time is running out to enter Spotlight! as application deadline approaches

Time is running out for performers across North Lincolnshire to enter Spotlight! The Big North Lincolnshire Talent Show, with applications closing at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Now in its third year, the hugely popular talent show will return to The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe in 2026, giving local performers of all ages and abilities another opportunity to put themselves forward and take to the stage.

From singers and dancers to musicians, comedians, magicians and more, anyone with a talent is encouraged to apply before the deadline. Entrants simply need to submit a short video showcasing their act.

Successful applicants will be invited to live auditions in January 2026, with the chance to secure a place in the live final taking place in May. The overall winner will receive a £1,000 prize, generously supported by this year’s sponsor, Kapil Care.

Spotlight! continues to celebrate local creativity and community spirit, welcoming performers from across the area and from all backgrounds.

With the deadline fast approaching, aspiring acts are urged not to delay.
