A programme of works carried out by Severn Trent Water is due to restrict car parking provision at the car park on Carlton Street in Scunthorpe town centre.
Preparatory work is expected to start this week, meaning the back seven rows of parking spaces will be inaccessible as the company upgrade sewerage works across the town centre.
A temporary access road to Scunthorpe Indoor Bowls Club will be created and the club, along with 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, will remain open as normal.
The work is expected to take up to ten months.
The front eight rows of parking spaces, including all the disabled bays, will be unaffected.
Alternative parking is available at the Parishes multi-storey car park – remember that all council owned car parks in North Lincolnshire offer the first two hours of parking for free.
More information on all the town centre car parks is available on our website.
