North Lincolnshire Museum reopened its doors from Monday 6 July, with a variety of safety measures in place to protect visitors and staff.
To limit the number of people at the site at any one time, visitors will need to pre-book tickets online at Eventbrite. Slots will be available for up to six people. A dedicated time for people with accessibility requirements has been introduced, to ensure the safety of visitors that need to use the lift.
Other social distancing measures that have been implemented at the Scunthorpe-based attraction include a one way system and hand sanitising stations to minimise the risk of contamination. Clear bags have been introduced in the gift shop, with the team cleaning card machines between transactions.
The reopening coincides with the exciting launch of a new exhibition at the Museum. ‘Medieval Crafts’ celebrates the special skills and unique artistry that illuminated this time period.
To pre-book your free general entry tickets, visit Eventbrite. If you have accessibility requirements follow this link to Eventbrite to pre-book your tickets. Alternatively, if you are unable to access the internet, please call the Museum on 01724 297055.
