Author Sarah Hagger-Holt has helped to take books with LGBTQ+ characters from prejudice to Pride and she will be visiting Scunthorpe for one day only next month.
Sarah has been working as a campaigner for voluntary sector organisations that are close to her heart for over 20 years. It is through her experiences and the stories she has heard that inspired her latest children’s fiction books.
You can join the author on Thursday 16 September 2021 from 5pm at Ashby Community Hub, where she will be providing an interactive introduction to LGBTQ+ history, short readings from her books ‘Nothing Ever Happens Here’ and ‘Proud of Me’, plus opportunities for Q&A and book signings.
Sarah’s books will also be available to buy (cash only) at the event.
