Local celebrity chef, Nigel Brown, will be visiting Brigg Farmers’ Market on Saturday 21 December 2019.
Owner of his own cookery academy in Barton upon Humber, Nigel has a lifetime of experience in the catering industry. Having trained at the highly acclaimed French cookery school, Ecole Le Notre, he has worked in some of the UK’s biggest and busiest hotels, and even catered for the likes of Nelson Mandela and Princess Anne.
At Brigg Farmers’ Market on 21 December, Nigel will be wowing visitors with his skills during three live cooking demonstrations. Nigel will be cooking up some festive treats using produce from the stalls at the market.
Nigel’s cooking demonstrations will take place at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm on the town’s bandstand in the Market Place.
Lucky visitors will get to try some of Nigel’s dishes once he’s finished his demonstrations.
Brigg Farmers’ Market usually takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month, but has been brought forward this December to just before Christmas.
The award-winning, FARMA-certified market features a range of local stalls selling fresh food – including cheeses, meats, pies, fruits and vegetables, plants, handmade crafts and much more.
Parking in Brigg is free on weekends in the town’s Old Courts Road car park and Angel car park.
