Andrew Percy of the Conservative Party has been elected as the MP for Brigg and Goole with 30,941 votes.

Holly Mumby-Croft of the Conservative Party has been elected as the MP for Scunthorpe with 20,306 votes.


Friday 13 December, 1.30am

The verification of the Brigg and Goole constituency votes has finished. 43,621 votes have been cast, a turnout of  66.2 per cent.


Friday 13 December, 1.10am

The verification of the Scunthorpe constituency votes has finished. 37,886 votes have been cast, a turnout of 61.2 per cent.


Thursday 12 December, 11.45pm

All ballot boxes have been received at The Pods from the 123 polling stations in the Brigg and Goole, and Scunthorpe constituencies. The verification of votes is continuing. It is expected to finish at 2am then the count will start.


Thursday 12 December, 10.50pm

The verification of ballot boxes has started. The last ballot box is expected to arrive from the polling stations at around 11.30pm.

Ballot boxes are coming into the The Pods and the verification of postal votes has started.

The election count at The Pods in Scunthorpe will see two parliamentary constituencies contested; Brigg and Goole and Scunthorpe County.
