Lincs Lotto began in 2017 and was set up by North Lincolnshire Council as a way of supporting local community groups, projects, and sees good causes receiving 60p from each ticket purchased.

To mark their four year anniversary Lincs Lotto held a special birthday prize raffle with six fantastic prizes up for grabs including a wide screen TV, a Sony boom box, gift vouchers and a three-month swim or gym pass for North Lincolnshire leisure centres.

The winners of the raffle support a number of local good causes including Belton Bowls Club, Isle Community Choir, Lincs Lotto, Saxby All Saints Bluebell Wood and Broughton Community & Sports Association. There are over 100 more good causes available to support on Lincs Lotto.

Iris Rawlins from Westwoodside who scooped first prize said: “It was a lovely surprise to win first prize and receive a brand new widescreen television. Lincs Lotto is a great way for people to help worthwhile local causes.”

Sheila Eade from the Isle Community Choir who scooped third prize said: “The Isle Community Choir has a syndicate currently with 6 members and I could not believe that we won a prize in the Lincs Lotto birthday draw.

“As the prize was a Boom Box, we raffled it between the members and Liz was the lucky winner!

“We have had several wins for the syndicate over the last few years and several members of the choir have had individual wins since the lotto started, so we may have to add, “Luck be a lady tonight” to our repertoire of songs.”

Lincs Lotto would like to thank North Lincs Active, Lindsey Relay (Euronics) in Barton, The Ropewalk in Barton, The Bar & Restaurant at 7 Lakes in Crowle and Flipout in Doncaster for their very kind donation of raffle prizes.

Tickets for the weekly draw cost just £1 and there is a one-in-50 chance of winning a prize every week, including cash prizes and free tickets.

You can pay by direct debit or debit card and winnings are paid directly into your bank account – or you can donate them to local good causes of your choice.
