North Lincolnshire Council is inviting residents and businesses to comment on the final stage of the area’s new Local Plan.
The Local Plan sets the overall strategy for development in North Lincolnshire up to 2038. It contains key strategic policies, detailing land for new jobs and the number of new homes to be built in the area.
The consultation, asks residents what they think about the plan.
This includes housing, settlement boundaries for villages and towns, local landscape designations, land for industrial development and a new suite of policies relating to planning applications.
There are a number of ways to take part in the consultation with events being held in Barton, Bottesford, Brigg, Crowle, Ealand, Epworth, Haxey, Kirton, Scunthorpe, Ulceby and Winterton. For a list of dates, times and venues visit A New Local Plan.
Comments can be made on the Council’s Consultation Portal or by emailing localplan@northlincs.gov.uk.
The deadline for comments is 5pm on Friday 3 December 2021.
