Nic Dakin of the Labour Party has been elected as the MP for Scunthorpe.

The verification of the Scunthorpe constituency has now finished. 39,157 votes have been cast, a turnout of 53 per cent. Counting will start at 12.45pm.

The election count for the Scunthorpe constituency for the 2024 General Election is taking place at The Pods in Scunthorpe this evening and postal verification is underway. Boxes started to arrive from 10.06pm from the 66 polling stations, with Parklands being the first to arrive.
