The main swimming pool at Ancholme Leisure Centre will be temporarily closed to allow for urgent and complex repair work.
The small pool, gym, and all other exercise and sports areas remain open and unaffected.
- Swimming lessons and Summer Daze free summer sessions in the small pool will continue as planned.
- Lessons due to take place in the main pool will be provided at The Pods (Scunthorpe) and Baysgarth Community Hub (Barton).
- The free summer holiday swimming sessions, Summer Daze, will now be delivered at The Pods and at Baysgarth – with half price bus fares (£1.50) for under-19s in place to support travel.
