Enjoy a fun-filled summer out and about in North Lincolnshire

Make the most of the school summer holidays with a variety of activities and places to visit across North Lincolnshire for all the family to enjoy.

Normanby Hall Country Park has an action-packed programme of fun learning activities taking place. In addition to the activities, children can enjoy the splashpad, playgrounds, museum and activity trails. If your family is feeling adventurous, why not book Go Ape?

Waters’ Edge Visitor Centre and Country Park is holding fun craft activities as well as the hugely popular Wildlife Day in August. With adventure playgrounds, interactive displays and games, and walking trails around the pond, there is plenty to do.

North Lincolnshire Museum has planned some exciting, themed family fun days, including:

  • Science Family Fun Fair on 4 August from 10am to 3.30pm
  • Prehistory Family Fun Day on 13 August from 10am to 4pm
  • Roman Family Fun Day on 20 August from 10am to 4pm

Scunthorpe United Community Sport and Education Trust is running summer soccer camps in August for children aged from six to 13.

Families can watch an exciting line up of live events with LiveLincs summer programme as they tour towns and villages.

The 10 minute Shake Up has started for the summer. Public Health England have teamed up with Disney to help get kids active throughout the holidays. It includes new 10 Minute Shake Up games, inspired by favourite characters from Disney Frozen, Disney and Pixar Toy Story and Marvel’s The Avengers aim to inspire children, rebuild their confidence in being physically active, develop new and longer-term physical skills and most importantly, have fun!

Thousands of children and young people across North Lincolnshire will be able to enjoy a programme of fun and food this summer at Fuelled events. There will be a wide range of exciting in-person activities and boredom-busting online resources on offer, with everything from Lunch with Lego at the Sands Stadium to multi-sports camps and Science and Technology clubs.

At every Fuelled event, children will enjoy a nourishing and tasty meal as well as learning more about healthy eating.
