Bins, Waste and Recycling
14:11, Wednesday, 29th March 2023

Refuse collectors will be out collecting people’s waste across North Lincolnshire before the Easter weekend, with some changes due to the Good Friday bank holiday.

All collections will take place one day early:

• Tuesday collections will be collected one day earlier on Monday 3 April
• Wednesday collections will be collected one day earlier on Tuesday 4 April
• Thursday collections will be collected one day earlier on Wednesday 5 April
• Friday collections will be collected one day earlier on Thursday 6 April

Residents can check their collection calendar to see which days their bins and boxes will be collected, or if they don’t have a calendar, they can check on the North Lincolnshire Council website.

Don’t forget you can swap your brown bin for a free composter – go to the composting page on our website for information.

Or why not keep your brown bin and take advantage of our special offer and buy a 330-litre home compost bin for just £15?

Bins can be picked up from Cottage Beck Road, Scunthorpe, during Compost Awareness Week which takes place from Sunday 7 May to Saturday 13 May or get it delivered to your home for £7.50.

This is a limited edition offer – composters must be ordered online before 21 April 2023.

Household recycling centres will be open as normal over the Easter period. You can find the latest information on the North Lincolnshire Council website.
