North Lincolnshire Council has launched a review into industrial traffic flows in and around Goxhill.
Residents from across the area met with council officers and members to discuss their suggestions which could lessen the impact of HGV movements to nearby industrial and agricultural sites.
Cllr Rob Waltham, leader, North Lincolnshire Council, said: “The challenges are quite unique and will require an innovative solution which works for everyone.
“Safety for residents and motorists is vital but we need to ensure whatever the solution is does not have a detrimental impact elsewhere – both on the road network and other peoples’ lives.
“We spoke to residents and its clear the community is engaged in working together to develop a solution – they were very constructive conversations and council officers have taken away the thoughts and views of the many people who attended the latest meeting.
“There are no firm proposals yet but we will continue to work with the community.”
