The bus, named ‘Hattie,’ is an open top bus modified to include seating areas and tables where people can get together and chat, as well as games for children and families and will be touring North Lincolnshire next week.

Look out for Hattie as she will be visiting Barton, Scunthorpe, Brigg and Epworth to promote the £1 bus fare cap for children and the continued success of the £2 bus fare cap.

Young people aged between 5 and 19 years old will pay £1 for single bus journeys within North Lincolnshire during the six-week summer school holidays, commencing 21 July 2024.

Significant improvements to North Lincolnshire’s bus networks have recently been made by extending services and widening the network to reach more communities as well as the continued offer of the £2 bus fare cap which runs until 31 December 2024.

Join us on Hattie for an opportunity to fill in our bus survey and pass on your views about the bus network in North Lincolnshire; the bus services, the bus stops/infrastructure and  public transport information.
