It has never been easier for residents to pay to dispose of their waste at Household Recycling Centres (HRC) across North Lincolnshire now card payments are available.
North Lincolnshire Council recently started accepting card – or smartphone payments at its Household Recycling Centres, except at Barnetby and Broughton where no charges apply.
From 1 April 2020, only card payments will be accepted to provide a better service for residents.
Cashless payments brings about many benefits for customers including, less waiting time and no need to worry about having the correct amount of cash.
It is free to dispose of most items at Household Recycling Centres. However, there is a cost to disposing of plasterboard, soil, ceramics, hardcore and rubble, and tyres.
To find out where your nearest Household Recycling Centre is, go to the HRC page.
