The quiet country lanes and friendly villages of North Lincolnshire are perfect for family cycling. A comprehensive North Lincolnshire cycle routes pack, with details of 13 rides, from six miles to 50 miles in length is available via the Visit North Lincolnshire website.

The cycle routes pack, priced at £3.50 is available from your nearest Tourist Information Centre or Local Link.

The Sustrans route 1, part of the national cycle network, runs from Hull to Harwich. It crosses the Humber Bridge and takes cyclists thorough the North Lincolnshire’s uncongested roads, taking in the picturesque rolling Wolds.

Sustrans route 169 ‘The Ridgeway’ runs east to west along the ridge of Scunthorpe towards Normanby.
