Tuition fee

Our tuition fee will be £9,535. This is inclusive of a PGCE awarded through our HEI Partner, University of Hull , Hull.

Tuition fee loans

As a trainee you will be able to apply for a tuition fee loan to cover these costs. This means that you won’t have to find the money before you start the course, or whilst you are studying. The fee will be paid directly to your university or provider by the Student Loans Company. In this case, to the North Lincolnshire SCITT Partnership.

Some trainees choose to pay their own fees. These are due in two instalments, to the North Lincolnshire SCITT Partnership, half at the beginning and half at the end of the training.

Maintenance grant

Assessment of trainees living in England is carried out by Student Finance England and administered through the Student Loans Company.

Student Finance England will determine whether or not you are eligible for a maintenance grant under this system.

Bursaries and scholarships

Bursaries are available for training in many secondary subjects. Scholarships are also available in a number of secondary subjects.

Salaries whilst training

Unfortunately, there are currently no salaried training places in North Lincolnshire schools.

Other financial support

There is a range of financial support on offer for trainee teachers. This includes maintenance loans and extra financial support for parents, people who have a disability and people who have an adult dependent. For more information please visit Get Into Teaching.

Governance & Policies

The North Lincolnshire SCITT Partnership Board, is made up of headteachers from across the region and is responsible for the governance of the partnership.
