SENDIASS provides a free, impartial and confidential service to parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) aged 0 to 25. We also support young people with SEND.
How we can help
We offer information, advice and support to families with children and young people who have SEND on a range of education issues. This includes health and social care issues related to education.
We can offer support in a variety of ways:
- listen to your views
- explain your rights and responsibilities
- give impartial information and advice
- try to ensure that your voice is heard and that you are involved in decisions that affect you
- signpost you to other sources of information, advice and support
We also have a role in providing training and informing local policy and practice.
