Special Educational Needs and Disability, Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS)

What is SENDIASS?

SENDIASS is a free and impartial service for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their parents and carers. SENDIASS provides information, advice and support in relation to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), alongside related health and social care matters.

Impartial means that we do not take sides or tell you what to do and the information we provide is based in guidance and legislation. All staff in the team are trained through IPSEA (Independent Parental Special Education Advice).
