Formal consultation on proposed Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs).

If you have any objections to these orders you should submit them, giving your reasons, by the date indicated.

You will find a statement of reasons, description of the order and plan showing the proposed changes in the documents below.

To amend the North Lincolnshire Borough Council (Various Roads) (Restricted/De-restricted Roads and Speed Limits) (Consolidation) Order 2013 as follows:

30mph Speed Limit

(A) A18 Main St, Melton Ross (Airport side) from the existing 30mph Speed Limit – to replace the existing 50mph Speed Limit with a 30mph Speed Limit in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 60m as shown on drawing number  SL-21-02-01 A18 Melton Ross

(B) A18 Melton Ross (west of the junction with B1211) – to extend the 40mph Speed Limit in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 105m, replacing a section of the existing 50mph Speed Limit as shown on drawing number SL-21-03-01 A18 approach to B1211

(C) A1077 Barrow Rd, Barton-upon-Humber from the existing 30mph Speed Limit towards Barrow-upon-Humber – to introduce a 50mph Speed Limit in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 1km as shown on drawing number SL-21-05-01 A1077 Barrow Road

Objections to the proposal specifying the grounds on which they are made should be sent in writing to either the Traffic Safety Team, Billet Lane, Normanby Enterprise Park, Scunthorpe DN15 9YH or traffic@northlincs.gov.uk not later than 5 February 2026.

(Various Streets) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2019) (Brumby Wood Lane, Scunthorpe) (Experimental Amendment) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that on 17th Sept 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order under Section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce waiting restrictions on the road described in the Schedule. The Order will come into effect on 26th Sept 2025 for an experimental period of 18 months.

Within 6 months of the coming into force of this Order or of the latest variation or modification of it, any person may object to the making of an Order giving indefinite continuation of it. Any such objection specifying the grounds on which it is made should be sent in writing to either the Highways Traffic Safety Manager, Billet Lane, Normanby Enterprise Park, Scunthorpe DN15 9YH or 9YH or traffic@northlincs.gov.uk.

To introduce No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions on Brumby Wood Lane, Scunthorpe as shown on drawing number YHN5006/25/02/01.
