The Youth Van is a mobile youth service, working with young people aged 10-21 in hard-to-reach areas of Scunthorpe and rural areas where there is limited provision and infrastructure.

No booking required! Young people can simply turn up and join us at the Youth Van. Check our Eequ page for the latest locations and updates. Please use button below.

Youth workers follow the national youth curriculum to ensure high-quality engagement and learning.

Topics discussed on the van are shaped by local data, emerging trends, and issues that matter most to young people.

We also incorporate feedback from community leaders, schools, and partner agencies to address relevant concerns such as mental health, online safety, relationships, substance awareness, and future aspirations. This approach ensures that conversations are meaningful, responsive, and tailored to the needs of each community.

Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Knife crime
  • Gang culture
  • CCE / CSE and County lines
  • Online safety
  • Mental health
