An online consultation has been launched asking for views about the South Axholme Community Hub transformation planned for Epworth Leisure Centre.

Isle residents are urged to fill in the form asking for their opinions on current proposals and suggesting other services the hub could host, such as activities for young people and facilities for local community groups.

The scheme is part of North Lincolnshire Council’s £5m community investment programme to better meet the needs of individual communities, improving accessibility to council services.

Existing proposals include a multi-use library, fitness studio and training kitchen.

You can access the questionnaire here.

You can also view plans and talk to local councillors and officers at the Epworth Food Fest today (Friday 30 July) in the Kings Head Croft car park off Church Lane between 12 – 8pm.

The project forms part of a wider scheme by the council to redevelop community hubs to deliver council services to the heart of our communities and enable local people to shape the spaces to best suit their own needs.

It follows transformations at The Market Hall in Crowle, the Baysgarth Hub in Barton, Ashby Hub and The Angel in Brigg.
