People on low-incomes who have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test & Trace can now apply to North Lincolnshire Council for a new cash payment of £500.
It is part of the Government’s plan to support vulnerable families when they self-isolate.
To keep the community safe as we adapt to life with Covid-19 anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 must self-isolate and book a test.
People can claim the £500 payment if they are receiving Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, income-based Employment and Support Allowance, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income Support, Housing Benefit and/or Pension Credit.
Applicants must be employed or self-employed, unable to work from home and have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test & Trace from 28 September onwards.
To apply online visit the North Lincolnshire Council website or call 01724 297000.
