Residents in Old Crosby are being invited to have their say on plans to protect, restore and raise standards across the area’s historic core, as a public consultation is now live.
North Lincolnshire Council is consulting on proposals to refine the Old Crosby Conservation Area boundary, so protection is focused on the part of the neighbourhood that still retains strong historic and architectural character.
The proposals also include stronger planning safeguards to help prevent further loss of traditional features and support long-term neighbourhood pride.
The consultation follows a detailed review which found that, while Old Crosby has a strong historic identity, parts of the existing conservation area no longer reflect the character originally intended to be protected.
The consultation is open now and residents are encouraged to view the proposals, understand what they mean, and share their views before any final decisions are made.
