In a recent study by Country Living UK, North Lincolnshire has come out on top, scoring highly in all areas – and has been named the best place to raise children in the UK.
Research conducted by Oxford Home Schooling took into account a number of various factors, including school ratings, the percentage of school places available and affordability of housing.
North Lincolnshire — loved for its luscious green spaces and community spirit — scored top marks for its affordable property prices (£149,000 is the average here), as well as having plenty of brilliant schools (over 86 percent were rated highly by Ofsted).
