North Lincolnshire Council has been recognised as one of the top-performing councils in the UK, featuring in IMPOWER’s prestigious Top 10 Most Productive Local Authorities Index.
The achievement is being highlighted in the Municipal Journal.
Councils were judged on key areas, including housing, homelessness, waste and recycling, children’s social care, support for adults, and health.
The top 10 list recognises councils that have significantly outperformed other councils across multiple categories.
Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, Cllr Rob Waltham said: “Being named in the top 10 best councils is a tremendous recognition of the hard work and dedication of our staff and community.
“It reflects our commitment to enriching the lives of our residents while ensuring that we make the most of every pound spent.
“Our inclusion in this list is a testament to the innovative work we’ve undertaken to improve opportunities for our residents across North Lincolnshire.
“This ranking highlights North Lincolnshire Council’s effective leadership, demonstrating exceptional performance across a range of critical areas that directly impact the lives of residents.
“However, there is always more to do and even when we have great feedback, we use this as the basis for our continual improvement, to continue to work with our residents to make North Lincolnshire to a great place to live, work and invest.”
