Residents across North Lincolnshire are invited to explore new opportunities, build confidence and take their next step at the Jobs Expo, returning to the Baths Hall, Scunthorpe, on Thursday 5 March 2026, from 10am to 4pm.
The popular Jobs Expo is back, bringing together local employers, training providers and support services under one roof. Whether you’re looking for work, thinking about a career change or simply want to see what’s out there, there’s something for everyone.
Alongside hundreds of live vacancies from employers recruiting now and for the months ahead, visitors can access practical advice and friendly support to help them move forward – whatever stage they’re at.
Companies attending the Expo include British Steel, 2 Sisters, Ongo, Cat Tech International, Utility Warehouse, Anglian Water, Construction Skills People, Stagecoach, Humberside Police, Goodwin Healthcare and Peak Security Services – plus dozens more.
Cllr Rob Waltham, Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “This event is all about opening doors and helping people feel confident about their next move. You don’t need to have everything figured out – just come along, have conversations and see where they lead.
“Whether you’re job hunting, thinking about retraining or just want to explore your options, the Jobs Expo is a brilliant place to start.”
As well as meeting employers face to face, people attending the Expo can get advice on:
- Retraining and work experience
- Careers guidance and building confidence
- Managing money and planning for the future
- Mental health and wellbeing support
The event is open to everyone – from people currently out of work, to those looking to progress in their career, change direction, or facing redundancy and considering what’s next.
Cllr Waltham added: “This is a great opportunity for young people taking their first steps into the world of work, especially those who’ve finished college and decided university isn’t for them. There are real, local opportunities on offer, right here in North Lincolnshire.”
At the last Jobs Expo, more than 700 people attended, with four out of five going on to apply for jobs they found on the day. Employers also reported strong interest, meeting hundreds of potential recruits and receiving dozens of applications.
The Jobs Expo is free to attend and there’s no need to book – just turn up on the day and start exploring what’s possible.
