The Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), in response to the current pandemic are planning to host a series of free online jobs and careers fairs between November 2020 and Summer 2021, with the first one going live on Wednesday 11 November from 12pm to 3pm.

This series of virtual events will bring together job seekers and employers within the Greater Lincolnshire area and is aimed at providing individuals with the opportunity to see what jobs are available, receive job advice and the chance to virtually meet businesses who are looking to employ.

It will also provide a free platform for businesses, both large and small to showcase what they have to offer and personally present the opportunities that are currently available for people looking to get onto the career ladder, get back into work or to branch out and start a new career path, train and develop.

Businesses can register to be part of the event and have their own virtual exhibition stand via the Greater Lincolnshire Jobs Fair website

Cllr Rob Waltham, Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said:

“This will bring together employers and training providers to showcase the great opportunities there are across Greater Lincolnshire and encourage and support people to move up the career ladder, upskill, or get back into work.

“Clearly at present there are challenges we are facing as a community but there are opportunities available.”
