In an exciting new partnership with Community Care – the UK’s leading platform for the social work sector – North Lincolnshire Council is stepping into the spotlight with a dedicated recruiter profile, live job listings, and a three-part podcast series that gives an insider’s view into life in the Children and Families service.

This partnership reflects North Lincolnshire Council’s commitment to transparency, professional development, and its unique ‘One Family Approach’. This model of practice brings together children, families, and professionals to work collaboratively toward positive outcomes.

The aim is for children to thrive within their families, achieve in their schools, and flourish in their communities. Through this approach, the council continues to prioritise the wellbeing and success of every child.

The three podcasts, hosted on Community Care, focus on:

  • Career Progression – highlighting real pathways and stories from the Children and Families workforce
  • Wellbeing – supporting staff to thrive both personally and professionally
  • The ‘One Family Approach’ – working together with shared values and purpose

Through this series, listeners will hear first-hand from team members about the council’s supportive environment, its investment in professional development, and how it fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Cllr Julie Reed, cabinet member for children and families at North Lincolnshire Council, said:

“At North Lincolnshire Council, we are deeply committed to nurturing passionate individuals and creating opportunities for our social care professionals to grow.

“Our partnership with Community Care allows us to share the incredible work being done here and to welcome more passionate individuals to join us. It’s not just about jobs, it’s about making a real difference in children’s and families’ lives.”

By featuring on Community Care, North Lincolnshire Council aims to connect with like-minded professionals who are eager to join a forward-thinking council that values its workforce.

The dedicated recruiter profile will provide job seekers with up-to-date vacancies, insight into the council’s culture, and direct access to application opportunities.

Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced social worker looking for a fresh challenge, North Lincolnshire Council offers a rewarding, supportive, and ambitious environment to grow your career.

The team are also keen to hear from individuals with different backgrounds, such as education, childcare, or voluntary sector who may be interested in a children’s social care career – including becoming a foster carer!
