The Isle of Axholme and Hatfield Chase (IoAHC) Landscape Partnership is a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) scheme that aims to reconnect residents with their local landscapes and cultural heritage.
Lead by North Lincolnshire Council, but working in partnership with many other organisations including, Natural England, Doncaster Metropolitan Council, Crowle Peatland Railway and the Canal & River Trust.
Over five years, starting in late 2016, sixteen individual projects will be delivered in the area, working with local volunteers, groups and partners.
There are three core themes:
• Peatlands and Wetlands; Projects focused on the restoration and understanding of Peatlands and Wetlands.
• Time and Place; Projects focused on the areas cultural heritage.
• Community Connections; Project focused on making landscape and heritage more accessible.
