Arts in North Lincolnshire

An introduction to arts, culture and entertainment in North Lincolnshire.

The arts scene in North Lincolnshire

North Lincolnshire has an exciting and diverse arts scene.

Whether you are interested in dance, music, drama, visual art, film or literature, there is something for you.

We work with a number of partners to develop art projects across the region, and together we aim to provide enjoyment, learning and inspiration for everyone.

We can offer advice and guidance to artists and organisations wanting to set up art projects in the region. Or if you want to know what’s going on in your local area, please contact us.

Local events and activities are shared on the Arts Development social media pages including Facebook and Twitter.

You can also sign up to our monthly newsletter to find out about local events and activities.

Dance groups are also invited to enter the annual regional U.Dance showcase, Fresh, managed by Yorkshire Dance.

Arts Development

We can offer advice on potential funding pots for arts projects. We can assist and advise individual artists and arts organisations with their funding bids.

The main funding body for arts projects is Arts Council England, which offers grants for the Arts and funding for National Portfolio Organisations. There are also a number of trusts and foundations that offer funding for arts based projects. We will be happy to advise on these.

Community Grant Funding

Community Grant Funding is available to support community groups and talented individuals.
