Support for people self-isolating

To follow any changes to this service, visit the Council Service Updates page.

Support if you are self-isolating

The council is working with communities, voluntary groups and volunteers across the area to enable essential support for people who are self-isolating or who live alone and do not have family, friends or neighbours for assistance.

It may take time for any support offered through this service to arrive. Wherever possible you should continue to rely on friends, family and wider support to help you meet your needs.

Financial support available for people self-isolating

People on low-incomes who have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test & Trace, or if you’re the parent or guardian of a child who has been told to self-isolate, you  can now apply to North Lincolnshire Council for £500.

If you’re eligible for either the Test and Trace Support Payment or a discretionary payment, you’ll receive the £500 payment in addition to any benefits and Statutory Sick Pay that you receive currently. For further information, go to the Test and Trace support payment page.
