- are free for young people to attend.
To support you in your application, please see below exactly what your applications will be scored on:
Activity provision
- Activities are pre-planned and engaging for the children and young people attending and you have clearly set out what they will be doing (this will be used as a basis for your QA visits).
- Activities are enriching (they support participants to develop new skills, build on existing skills, meet new friends or try new things).
- The intended audience has been considered in relation to the start/end times.
- “Wet weather plans” – Are your activities outdoors? Have you considered what your provision will look like in the event of bad weather?
Other details
- A clear promotional plan is in place – The methods you will use to promote your activities have been considered (e.g. promoting to schools in your around your venue or advertising on your social media channels).
- Efforts have been made to make your provision accessible and inclusive (e.g. have you considered an additional staff member or are you able to provide 1:1 support if necessary?).
- The provision is value for money – the leadership team will compare your costs with a similar provision to judge whether they believe it is value for money.
- Delivery staff are equipped to provide signposting and referrals to participants or families who may need it.
Please note: we may be oversubscribed with applications and the above scoring process will be used to decide the successful Grant Awards.
