North Lincolnshire Council is inviting tourism businesses across the region to join forces and build back the visitor economy.

The Visit North Lincolnshire Tourism Partnership has organised a webinar on Thursday 24 September which will look at new developments and opportunities available.

The webinar will include details of how businesses can sign up for free membership of the Partnership until March 2021.

It will also introduce VisitBritain’s Escape the Everyday campaign, which is designed to reassure consumers and build their confidence to explore the area following months of lockdown.

Representatives from Visit Lincoln will be attending to introduce booking system TXGB, which has been launched in partnership with VisitEngland.

There will also be details about the Government’s new Kickstart Scheme, which will provide employers with funding so they can create job placements for young people.

The Visit North Lincolnshire Tourism Partnership has been running successfully for 18 months, attracting more visitors to the region and helping members of the visitor economy successfully promote their businesses, access grants and funding and stay up to date with legislation.

Specialised tourism officers can give detailed information, advice and support, and there is the opportunity to network virtually with other businesses owners and share experiences and advice.

The webinar is taking place via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 24 September. 1.30pm – 2.15pm.

You can register your interest by emailing events@northlincs.gov.uk, or calling Laura Atkinson on 01724 297000.
